Internet has become, and will continue to be, the most accessible source for everything we want to know. However, a person may easily feel lost, as a lot of information is virtually bombarded on her or him, in the form of news and updates, through various online media channels. It is necessary that you receive authentic news at proper place and time. It is also important that you know about the government initiatives, first hand.

The State’s Information Department was one of the first to realize this and quickly took important steps to cater to the people who rely on internet sources. The official portal (http://www.gujaratinformation.net/), of Information Department makes official information easily accessible.

Unlike any other traditional source, internet is a two-way channel.
